Toadies

The Toadies are an alternative rock band out of Fort Worth, Texas. They debuted in 1994 with Rubberneck on Interscope Records. An intense, swirling vortex of guitar rock built around Lewis's "wrong" song - like the smash single "Possum Kingdom," subject to as much speculation as what's in the Pulp Fiction briefcase, it rocked to platinum status on the strength of that and two other singles "Tyler" and "Away.? Its success was due to the Toadies' organic sound and all-encompassing style, which they aimed to continue on their future albums.

The controversy over the Toadies and their ever growing cult success lead to the recording of tracks for sophomore ablum Feeler.  Interscope Records did not release this album, but some tracks were use on their next official release of Hell Below, Stars Above.  During this tour, the Toadies disbanded in 2001.

After a few years of fan dying for a Toadies reunion tour, the band reformed in 2006 in their home state of Texas.  The Toadies finished up with their mini-tour and got back into the studio to release their latest project No Deliverance.  After releaseing this album, Toadies have been back into Nashville several times on tour.
